Legal Counsel

Were looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal team and provide comprehensive legal support to our teams across the organization. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with privacy laws, handling employment matters and providing strategic legal advice on varied and dynamic issues. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial law, excellent English communication skills, and a creative legal approach.

In this role, you will:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including customer agreements, vendor agreements, partnership/referral/consulting agreements, and NDAs.
Enhance Empathys privacy program to comply with various privacy laws and regulations (such as CCPA, Israeli privacy laws, HIPAA) and provide ongoing guidance on data protection and privacy issues.
Collaborate closely with teams across the organization (such as Product, R&D, Partner Success) to address legal needs and implement best practices.
Build out Empathys legal roadmap for entering new markets and execute roadmap implementation.
Prepare employment-related documents and provide guidance on U.S. employment law matters.
Advise on corporate legal matters such as corporate governance. ● Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the companys operations.
