a global leader in hybrid cloud security. XM Cyber brings a new approach that uses the attackers perspective to find and remediate critical attack paths across on-premises and multi-cloud networks. The XM Cyber platform enables companies to rapidly prioritize and respond to cyber risks affecting their business-sensitive systems. We are seeking a motivated student to join our FinOps team within the R&D Operations group. The successful candidate will combine strong technical and analytical skills, working closely with various departments across the company. This role will be instrumental in monitoring cloud costs and improving the operational efficiency of our infrastructure. Responsibilities:
* Monitor and analyze cloud usage on a daily basis using data and reports, while identifying waste and cost inefficiencies across engineering teams and business units, and lead optimization initiatives in close collaboration with R&D engineers.
* Take ownership of defining and automating operational processes to optimize costs, including termination of idle resources and management of underutilized assets.
* Collaborate with the Finance team on cloud expenditure management, including maintaining purchase orders and approving invoices, and assist in preparing data -driven reports and presentation materials for management across various departments

Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or possessing equivalent practical experience
* Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to examine large datasets and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Basic understanding of cloud architecture principles
* Experience with languages such as Python, SQL, or AI tools to build scripts, automations, presentations, etc.
* Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, finance, and operations teams.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or possessing equivalent practical experience
