A systems engineer is required for the UAV division in Modiin to develop a variety of UAV systems, including small tactical UAVs, loitering munitions, and heavy drones. Job Description:
* Development of UAV systems (small tactical UAVs, loitering munitions, and drones) that are software- and hardware-intensive, from the solution definition stage through specifications, design, integration, testing, and delivery to the customer.
* Leading complex integrations involving hardware and software components, payloads, and independent guidance of internal disciplines and subcontractors.
* Integration and development of capabilities within command and control (C2) systems.
* Defining requirements for various system components and writing specification and design documents.
* Hands-on end-to-end integration of electronic systems on drones.
* Leading development and integration activities with engineering teams: airborne software, C2 software, simulators, software testing, electronics, and more.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering Electrical / Software / Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering.
* Masters degree in Systems Engineering an advantage.
* Proven experience of at least 4 years as a systems engineer for complex multidisciplinary systems involving both software and hardware.
* At least 3 years of engineering development experience (hardware design / software / flight control).
* Significant advantage for experience with missiles / UAVs / aviation / command and control systems / autonomous vehicles / robotics.
* Hands-on experience working with and operating drones an advantage.
* Experience with loitering munitions / weapon systems / missiles / warheads an advantage.
* Familiarity with communication protocols (RS232, RS422, CAN-BUS, TCP/IP) an advantage.
* Proven experience in scripting using tools such as MATLAB / Python an advantage.
* Alumni of UAV-related military units (operations / technical / engineering) in the Air Force / Intelligence Corps / special units an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal skills, leadership and process management capabilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-learning skills, initiative.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
