Principal Backend Architect

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Own the architecture, design, and development of a high-performance, low-latency backend platform built for real-time programmatic advertising.
Lead hands-on development, guiding the transition from our PHP-based system to Go while optimizing for speed, resilience, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Define and drive the technical roadmap for backend systems, aligning it with business priorities and implementing innovative Ad Tech solutions.
Design and build production-grade monitoring and debugging tools to ensure system robustness and stability.
Ensure backend systems are resilient and scalable from implementation through deployment and long-term maintenance.
Protect Castle Backend from the safety of its unscalable walls.
