IDE is a leading player in the water treatment industry, specializing in cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions. We are seeking a talented Equipment Engineer to join our Engineering team.
This individual will be a technical focal point for specifying, selection; Backoffice and Site support of the Project Mechanical / Process equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Study and determine the Project / Client need and specification.
Preparation of technical specification and Datasheet.
Coordinate vendors data with the relevant project personnel.
Preparation of technical documentations (Reports, SOW, etc.) to support manufacturing, erection, and commissioning requirements.
Preparation of RFQ for equipment & packages.
Assessment of vendors proposals and preparation of technical evaluations.
Attendance at manufacturing acceptance tests for shop and site equipment.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical / Process engineering
At lease 2 years' experience working in the mechanical engineering field, especially process or power industry.
Experience with specifying selection and testing of Rotating equipment, Static Equipment, instrumentation
Working with Standards such as ASME, API, DIN, etc.
Familiarization with mechanical manufacturing methods.
Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation in English.
Willingness to travel abroad.
