We are looking for an experienced DevOps Team Lead to drive automation, scalability, and operational excellence across our AWS-based infrastructure.
This role will lead a team of DevOps engineers (including off-shore) responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security best practices.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of infrastructure and deployment strategies in a modern AWS environment
Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery workflows
Drive automation, scalability, and reliability across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes
Oversee observability practices to ensure system health, performance, and availability
Champion cloud security and compliance, aligning with best practices and organizational standards
Balance hands-on technical contributions with high-level strategic planning and decision-making
Promote DevOps best practices and contribute to the evolution of engineering processes company-wide.

Requirements:
5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
Expert knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, VPC, IAM, API Gateway, etc.).
Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform & CloudFormation).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (BitBucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
Deep understanding of containers & Kubernetes (EKS, Helm).
Strong background in monitoring/logging (Coralogix, NewRelic, Logz.io, CloudWatch, Prometheus).
Experience in securing cloud environments (WAF, IAM, KMS, security scanning).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Go, or similar).
Proven experience leading and growing DevOps teams.
Strong communication skillsable to work cross-functionally with developers and product teams.
A problem-solving mindset with a passion for automation and efficiency.
Ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic leadership.
