We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

Developing and maintain high-quality, scalable backend services within a microservices architecture using Java /Spring Boot and Python & participate in design from scratch to production
Delivering high quality features for our high-scale web environment
Monitoring the performance and cost of the services in production
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to improve our technology stack and development processes
Integrating with other team members (backend/frontend/product/UX) & mentor junior engineers and share your expertise with the team

Requirements:
Must have 3+ years of experience in software engineering with Java
Must have 1+ years of experience with Python
Must be proficient in in a microservices environment, including AWS, Kubernetes, SQS, and Tilt
