As a Backend Team Lead in the Cloud Telephony team, you'll spearhead the development of cutting-edge, AI-powered voice applications. Leveraging modern technologies, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of our telephony platform and its surrounding microservices. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our systems.
What do we expect from you:
Hands-on experience in the development and maintenance of high-load voice services.
8+ years of experience as a backend developer, with at least 5+ years of experience working with Node.js, and proven experience with voice applications.
Strong knowledge of Node paradigms, best practices, and voice application development.
Experience with various Node.js frameworks and tools specific to voice technology.
Ability to evaluate and recommend optimal tools and technologies for voice application development.
Experience with microservices architecture, DevOps, and continuous delivery pipelines.
Solid understanding of deployment processes, including Kubernetes and Docker.
Strong team player with a positive attitude towards collective code ownership, code reviews, and team collaboration.
Proven leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior developers.
Experience working with AI technologies and integrating them into voice applications.

Actively participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including feature grooming, code reviews, backend service maintenance (deployments, troubleshooting), and team mentorship.
Provide technical leadership and direction to the backend development team.
