Come join the company Data Exchange team as a Senior Backend Developer.
Our Backend Teams are responsible for acquiring millions of transactions and statements a day to satisfy our customers needs in all our company's products.
You will be developing high volume services that are part of our companys Data Exchange platform.
You will utilize your skills to help develop and maintain critical backend systems in cloud environments that are vastly used by various customers, both internal and external.

Responsibilities
Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
Designing/developing SaaS software, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POCâs)
Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
Roughly 70-85% hands-on coding
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Work cross-functionally with various teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
Contribute to the design and architecture of the project
Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.

Requirements:
6+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
Strong experience with cloud technologies, in particular AWS.
1+ years experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST.
Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process.
Familiar with working in production grade high scale micro-services environment.
Familiar with backend services, K8S, Spring Boot, Vert.x, docke,
Familiar with data processing technologies and ecosystem and specifically: Spark, Flink, Delta, Parquet, Hive, Data mesh, Kafka
Familiar with AWS data offerings: EMR, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, RedisExtra - Familiar with Model training and inferring and integrating with backend service: Scikit-Learn, H2O, spark-ml etc
Languages: Java, Scala, Python.
