We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented DBA MS SQL to maintain and enhancing our cloud-based managed database systems. Responsibilities:
* Feature Development: Design, develop, and implement new features within our MSSQL databases to support business requirements.
* First-Tier Support: Provide first-tier support for stored procedures that encapsulate core business logic, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.
* Database Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on database tables, including adding partitions, indexes, and keys to enhance performance and scalability.
* Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning and index management.
* Migration Management: Handle migration tasks between cloud vendors, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
* Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide database solutions.
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and changes.

* Database Maintenance: Knowledge of database maintenance tasks, including partitioning, indexing, and key management.
* Cloud-Based DB Management: Experience with cloud-based managed databases.
* Migration Management: Proven experience in handling migrations between cloud vendors.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
* Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with database design and data modeling.
* Familiarity with database security best practices.
