BI Developer - Governance

We are looking for a BI Developer - Governance. in this role, youll play a vital part in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and usability of our data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish robust data governance frameworks, improve data quality, and deliver insights using SQL and Tableau. You will develop dashboards to monitor governance processes, track compliance with data policies, ensure data quality standards are met, and provide transparency to stakeholders.
As a BI Developer - Governance you will
Craft data governance framework: Define and enforce policies, standards, and best practices for data management and governance.
Lead data quality initiatives: Develop and implement processes to monitor, manage, and improve data quality and data curation across the organization.
A solid understanding of data privacy and data security principles: including compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR) and best practices for protecting sensitive information.
Establish and track key data metrics: Define, measure, and report on data quality and governance KPIs.
Develop insightful Tableau dashboards: Create and maintain interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights for various teams.
Support data literacy: Educate stakeholders on data governance principles and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate on data projects: Work closely with data engineers, BI developers and analysts to design and implement data pipelines, semantic layers, and scalable solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with business units to identify data issues, gather requirements, and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
Utilize SQL for analysis and reporting: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
