well-funded medical device company in Israel is seeking a Senior SLAM Engineer to join our R D team. You will work on developing a next-gen vision-assisted surgical robotics platform using cutting-edge Machine Learning and Computer Vision algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver an end-to-end product.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced localization algorithms (SLAM, map-based).
- Optimize algorithms for Real-Time performance and scalability.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of algorithms.
- Contribute to team methodologies and share feedback.

Requirements:
? MSc in Computer Science or related fields (EE, Math, Physics, etc.); Ph.D - Advantage.
? 5+ years of hands-on experience with Computer Vision/SLAM algorithms.
? Proven experience in developing and implementing localization algorithms (KF, EKF, BA,
VO, VIO, PGO, etc.) for high-precision applications.
? Strong foundation in mathematical concepts relevant to localization and motion planning
(SO3, SE3, linear/non-linear optimization).
? Hands-on experience with advanced localization and mapping techniques, including
SLAM and sensor fusion models.
? Proficiency in C ++ and Python.
? Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
? Experience with Linux.
? Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced R D environment, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
? Familiar with ML tools such as W B or ClearML - Advantage.
