Counsel, Product Legal, Partnerships

As Senior Counsel, Product Partnership you will be a valuable member of the global Product Legal team and will help our rapidly growing business navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. Although you will be based in Europe, you will have multi-regional responsibility by supporting our product and partnership strategy and advising on complex technology transactions in EMEA, The Americas and APAC. You will also be responsible for ensuring we are compliant with our licensing and other regulatory requirements by implementing appropriate measures and controls. This dynamic role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and solving complex issues for our internal and external partners, is detail oriented, willing to take on challenges and changes, obsessively curious and intellectually honest, thrives on taking actions and delivering impactful results, and aims to inspire and be inspired.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with local counsel across jurisdictions such as Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, The U.S., The UK., and The European Union to discern and devise optimal paths to market from a legal and regulatory perspective

Provide advice and support to the product team, local legal teams, support functions, management, and the Legal, Risk, and Compliance Department.

Review and update manuals, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the regions in which operates

Liaise with senior stakeholders of the group, located around the world.

Manage external counsel and consultants on regulatory matters.

Develop and manage regulatory submissions and filings, and report on regulatory requirements internally and in regulatory filings

Negotiate complex and novel agreements with our strategic and banking partners

Support government relations outreach to legislators and regulatory agencies
