SICE ISRAEL seeks a Project Engineer for a transportation and infrastructure project in Jerusalem.
The candidate would be immersed on the daily works and developments of a live project, currently under construction, participating primarily on tasks related to the daily installation of telecommunications systems, testing and troubleshooting. He shall perform the primary liaison between the design and installation teams, overviewing and planning works, managing external subcontractors on a daily basis and creating progress reports.
The job role shall take place both on the construction site and office, as per project necessities. The candidate shall work along experts on the field, with the chance of hands-on experience with telecommunication infrastructure, learning how to deploy and carry out configurations and testing procedures over a variety of networking devices.

Requirements:

Technical background on mechanics, electricity or electronics, with a relevant degree as proof thereof.
No minimum professional experience required.
Willingness to interact with different persons and companies on a daily basis, expending a relevant time of the workweek (50% or higher) on the construction site.
Enthusiastic attitude with a desire to listen, learn, ask questions to continue your professional development.
Relevant knowledge of MS Office, specially Word and Excel.
Capacity to write, listen and talk in English and Hebrew languages.
Valid Israeli Driving License.

Desirable:
Preferably Master or Bachelor Degree level.
Residence in Jerusalem or nearby, so the candidate can be physically present in Jerusalem area at the start of the workday.
Hands-on experience in construction or installation jobs.
