Were looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in developing the next generation of intelligent maritime solutions. In this position, you will work across the software stack, driving innovation in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. What Will You Do?
Design & Develop: Architect, design, and implement software components across the stack, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Lead Projects: Take ownership of major features and complex projects, driving them from concept to deployment.
Innovate with New Technologies: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices, and evaluate their application to enhance our systems.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, system engineers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions.
Enhance Quality: Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, ensuring robust, reliable, and maintainable code through test-driven development (TDD).
Optimize Systems: Design and improve scalable, highly available systems that support advanced technologies like computer vision and AI-driven products.
Mentor & Share Knowledge: Provide technical guidance, share best practices, and help foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Requirements:
5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years working with Python.
Strong knowledge of back-end development, microservices architecture, and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Proven experience designing and building scalable, distributed, and highly available systems.
Experience working in a CI/CD environment with automated deployment pipelines.
Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and hands-on experience with modern testing frameworks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Bonus Points:
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience working in a startup environment or with multi-disciplinary product development.
Experience developing multi-threaded or multi-tasked applications.
Hands-on experience with AWS-based systems (e.g., SQS, CloudFront, Lambda, EKS).
Familiarity with distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and REST APIs.
Experience with computer vision technologies and AI-driven products.
Knowledge of video systems (e.g., video streaming, media servers).
Familiarity with technologies we use: GitLab, InfluxDB, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, PyTorch.
