We are seeking a talented Anatlytics Engineer to join our Data Team.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the design and architecture of innovative data systems from scratch to production in order to support our analytics initiatives.
Leverage innovative and modern data platforms to manage, transform, and process data for data analysis, ML and AI models, supporting real-time and batch-processing workflows.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions that support model training, monitoring, and production deployment.
Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows for maritime data sources.
Develop backend services that perform data transformations to standardize data and prepare it for production level.

Requirements:
5+ years experience as a data engineer / BI developer or a similar role.
Hands-on experience working with large DWH / data analytics structures and developing pipelines in a BigData environment.
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Excellent knowledge of SQL with advanced analytics data orientation.
Proficient with Python programming and OOP concepts.
Experience in breaking down complex business problems into clear, implementable technical specifications
Experience in designing and implementing decision engines that can:
Process multiple input parameters
Apply complex conditional logic
Generate consistent and predictable outputs
Excellent understanding of data and schema standards and concepts.
Experience in a Cloud Native environment, such as AWS an advantage.
Experience with Snowflake an advantage.
We work 4 days a week from our office in Tel Aviv.
