The candidate will join the system and hardware development team that is part of the R D group of Astronautics which develops products for the military, aerospace and aviation industries e.g. high performance rugged mission computers, smart displays based on state of the art graphic processors and mixed signal data sensors for avionic applications.
The candidate will focus on the development of the display systems and elements and participate in the whole chain of the display development including requirements, design, integration, debug and support.

Requirements:
" BSc in Computer/Electrical Engineering from a known university- must.
" Specialization in Electro-optics - advantage.
" Over 5 years of experience in avionic and military displays designs - must.
Specifically, the following topics are required:
- Optical performance and requirements definitions.
- Backlight optical components define, design and TEST.
- NVG requirements, definitions, design and testing.
- Touchscreen technologies and implementation in military/avionic displays
- Optical bonding technologies
- EMI design/support for displays systems
- Optical performance
" Experience with avionic, military and naval environmental and EMI requirements, standards and conditions - must.
" Experience with avionic interfaces - advantage.
" High-level English - read/write - must.
