As a Big Data Backend Tech Lead, you'll be at the forefront of building and enhancing our data infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and complex distributed systems to make significant improvements to our data platforms. In your day-to-day, you will:
Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and data services
Drive architectural decisions and provide technical leadership
Collaborate closely with top-notch engineers to tackle tough problems and deliver creative solutions
Ensure high availability and reliability of data for various services and products
Mentor and guide team members in best practices, including TDD, clean code, and software engineering principles.

8+ years of software engineering experience
Proven experience in designing and building complex, distributed systems
Proficiency in clean code principles and TDD methodologies
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Familiar with software engineering best practices such as testing, code reviews, and immutability
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Knowledge of bad practices and anti-patterns in software development
Proactive mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
8+ years of software engineering experience
