We are seeking a System Engineer to join our team responsible for the design and prototype assembly of a new optically based metrology platform for the semiconductor industry.
The role includes full responsibility for all automated Python tool tests, along with system engineering work.
This is a unique opportunity to join a project at its inception and make a significant impact. Our metrology instruments are installed at leading semiconductor manufacturers and are engineered to meet the most stringent specifications.
Responsibilities:
What you will be doing?
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python utilities for tool testing and calibration.
On-tool automated system-level tests to measure accuracy and stability performance.
Be the tool performances focal point for other disciplines, including the CTO, optics, SW, and mechanics, concerning tool performance.
Design and perform experiments to improve next-generation tool performance.
Travel to customers around the world for on-site installation and support.

Requirements
BSc in Physics/Electrical Engineering (or related field) from a recognized university.
At least one year of experience writing production-level code.
At least 2 years of Python programming experience.
Proven experience as a software developer in a multidisciplinary environment - advantage.
MSc/PhD from an experimental optical laboratory with hands-on experience - advantage.
System experience from a multidisciplinary company - advantage.
