Database Migration Service (DMS) is the gateway to customers, data migration to our Cloud. It is the tool to understand the database migration path, perform migrations quickly and easily with maximum fidelity and minimal downtime, and validate the success of their process so they can keep the business moving.
Seamless database migration to the cloud is viewed as a strategic effort and is absolutely critical for continuous growth of our Cloud and as such DMS is critical for our Cloud's overall success.
In this role, you will be understanding and assessing our customers Data Base (DB) needs an options for the workload modernization and convert rich schemas, DB and application code to facilitate the transition. You will be Leveraging Generative AI to facilitate and accelerate the clients journeys.
You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering our Cloud's SQL dialect conversion capabilities. You will lead the charge by understanding customer needs and industry best practices, using this knowledge to define and prioritize crucial conversion features. You will be a trusted advisor for our customers, guiding them through the migration journey with your expertise in SQL Server and our Cloud.

Responsibilities:
Work on Generative AI efforts across Database Migration Solutions (DMS) team.
Lead the SQLServer, PG dialect conversion strategy by identifying customer needs and industry best practices for SQL Server migration. Define and prioritize SQL dialect conversion features based on customer needs and business impact.
Build relationships with our Cloud customers, acting as a technical expert and trusted advisor. Provide guidance on migration strategies, best practices, and troubleshooting, and proactively identify and address potential migration issues. Advise customers on developing with and migration to google managed database systems on our Cloud Platform using the Database Migration Service.
Contribute to the conversion service infrastructure by integrating tools, conducting rigorous testing and benchmarking, and driving continuous improvement.
