About this role
This is a role in core AI group, which specializes in developing cutting-edge AI solutions in healthcare, enhancing medical imaging and diagnostics. The AI software team is responsible for building the infrastructure that enables researchers to develop AI solutions and supports the entire lifecycle of these solutions. As a Team leader, you will play a pivotal role in both designing the team's infrastructure roadmap and leading by example through hands-on involvement in building it. Your responsibility will include leading a scrum team, being involved in architecture design, actively contributing to code development, and providing guidance and mentoring for team members. You will work in a unique professional culture in which software engineering is a core part of making A.I. excellent.

Responsibilities
Be a leader. Provide technical guidance, personal and career development, mentoring, and coaching to team members
Hands-on work, including design and development of scalable infrastructure for training, fine-tuning and deploying innovative AI algorithms for computer vision and NLP in the context of medical imaging.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers and product managers, to drive the development of new AI products and features.
Work in a unique professional culture applying the full range of software engineering capabilities in the core parts of the A.I. systems
Perform code reviews to maintain the highest SW standards.
Take initiative in exploring and adopting of new technological advances in all relevant domains (for example, scalable cloud based systems, DL and CV SW frameworks, Large scale ML systems)

Requirements:
BA/BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
At least 4 years of recent hands-on experience in building complex software systems.
At least 2 years of experience as a team leader actively contributing to code development
Experience building and maintaining infrastructure for large-scale foundation models, including familiarity with distributed training systems, model optimization techniques, and deployment strategies.
Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals object-oriented design, code optimization, and complexity
Passion for building generic and robust software architecture
Passion for elegant and effective technological solutions, and a love for clean code
Strong ability to lead end-to-end development processes while remaining technically involved
Accountability and ownership lead your team toward the companys goals through example and action
A team player who knows how to listen and cares what their teammates have to say.
Proven ability to motivate people and instill ownership, teamwork, and commitment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team
