Join us as a SOX Manager and take the lead in building the internal control framework from the ground up! This is your chance to shape a critical function, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements while driving innovation in financial processes. In this role, you'll develop the SOX Control Matrix, perform financial process sampling, and collaborate with managers to establish and maintain robust internal controls. You'll also serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, liaise with the Bank of Israel, and conduct in-depth reviews to ensure legal compliance.
Responsibilities:
Establish and Manage the SOX Control System, develop and implement the work plan for internal controls in compliance with SOX regulations.
Identify and define financial risk areas within the organization and establish controls to mitigate these risks.
Conduct periodic sampling and review of financial processes.
Manage a year-round control testing program in collaboration with accounting, finance, risk management, and internal audit teams.
Work with external auditing firms to perform internal control testing in accordance with SOX requirements.
Prepare and review reports for external audits of the internal control framework.
Maintain professional relationships with the Bank of Israel and other regulators regarding internal controls and SOX compliance.
Support compliance with financial regulations and submit regulatory reports, including those related to internal controls.

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
CPA certification is required.
At least 5 years of experience managing SOX compliance in a financial organization; banking experience is a significant advantage.
Proficiency in SOX 404 and 302 standards, financial regulations, and financial reporting.
Experience in conducting sampling and reviews of financial processes and risk control systems.
In-depth understanding of banking and financial laws and regulations, including SOX requirements.
Excellent proficiency in operating knowledge management and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Fluency in both English and Hebrew (written, spoken, and reading) is required.
Experience collaborating with external auditors and financial regulators (e.g., the Bank of Israel) - an advantage.
Skills & knowledge:
Strong management skills, ability to work under pressure, and achieve goals with precision and transparency.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present professional information clearly and effectively.
Flexible mindset with the ability to learn and quickly adapt to regulatory changes.
