Assistant Controller

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Controller to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience post internship, from a global company. As an Assistant Controller, youll be responsible for collaborating with various operational departments to ensure proper accounting treatment, execution of accounting functions and reporting of results, while collaborating with team members across the globe. The Assistant Controller will report to the Corporate and revenue controller.
What are some of the things you do on a day-to-day basis?
Support Preparation of SEC compliant reporting and accompanying financial statements
Support the quarterly reviews and annual audit process with our auditors
Support Implementation of new accounting standards across worldwide subsidiaries
Support the monthly and quarterly close
Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company guidelines
Support business objective and revenue recognition process
Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
Oversee the general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve issues
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
Assist the Corporate Controller in various accounting management tasks and day to day operations.
