Principal Agile Practitioner - AI Platform Core Components

The AI Platform Core Components organization, part of AI Engineering, is looking for individuals with passion for fostering an agile culture and helping grow the impact of our AI offerings for our customers and the community. The focus of our rapidly growing organization is to provide independence for AI Engineering on implementing AI accelerators and core layers of the stack. In the position of Principal Agile Practitioner, you will have an exciting opportunity to encourage generative AI innovation through open source, contribute to the agile development and maintenance of the services provided by our organization, and be at the forefront of the exciting evolution of AI. As the lead of the AI Platform Core Component's team of agile practitioners, you will have the opportunity to develop and nurture the agile culture of an entire organization. You will engage with stakeholders, engineering teams, and entire departments to promote and cultivate an agile mindset. As an individual contributor, you will coach and mentor the organizational leadership and a subset of teams and ensure consistent application of agile best practices and tools. Just as importantly, you will be collaborating closely with like-minded agile professionals working with teams of their own as we build out an open organization that fully encourages agile values and principles, and where everyones contributions and thoughts are valued and regarded. We focus on respectful adoption of agility through the identification and resolution of existing challenges rather than implementation of specific frameworks.

What you will do:

Evangelize agile mindset, values, and principles to promote agility across the organization.

Establish collaborative partnerships and coach several cross-functional and distributed teams to advise them on their journey of continuous improvement.

Guide the organization in work and priorities visualization and tracking to ensure transparency and predictability.

Support new teams in their formation, goal setting and prioritization, and iteration commitment.

Introduce new ideas and processes that improve organizational collaboration, effectiveness, performance, productivity, and overall contentment.

Identify and address systemic impediments hindering progress.

Provide training in areas where agile concepts are new or not followed.

Establish and foster a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and solutions found.

Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
