Systems Engineer, Silicon Photonics Test Solutions (Israel)

The Senior Silicon Photonics Test Solution System Engineer will have responsibility for working closely with the test cell development team to understand test hardware and algorithms. The individual will develop optical test instrumentation for emerging markets within semiconductor test. Instrumentation may include laser sources, polarizers, optical fibers and connectors, optical sensors, photo-diodes, along with motion systems, cameras, and image-analysis software. As a member of the Silicon Photonics Engineering, you will be a key player delivering test solutions and deploy at customers sites. You will be working closely with the customer engineers, our engineering and app engineering to ensure on-time delivery.

Interacting with customers to define requirements for new optical test products.
Utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues.
Apply deep understanding of photonics devices both silicon photonics based fabricated devices and off the shelf components.
Provide experimental setups with optical instrumentation and conduct lab testing.
Work cross-functionally with engineers from other disciplines to develop innovative products.
Develop test methods for lab and production verification.
