The Embassy of Sweden in Tel Aviv is responsible for representing Sweden
as well as to follow and promote Swedish interests in Israel.
The overall tasks of the Embassy include maintaining a dialogue with the
Israeli government, other public representatives and the civil society,
following and reporting on domestic and regional political and security
developments and economic issues as well as to promote Swedish business,
trade, innovation and culture. Another central task is to provide consular
and migration services.

Requirements:
- Attend meetings and events, build and maintain networks and
contacts to provide reporting on political and security related
developments;
- Monitor Hebrew and English-speaking media, social media and
other outlets and provide regular and ad hoc summaries and
reports on trends and political developments;
- Preparing written material for the Embassys management
including background notes, speaking points, meeting minutes,
speeches etc.
- Monitor domestic politics including legal and parliamentary
aspects;
- Maintaining the Embassys network of contacts with relevant
authorities, institutions and partners;
- Contribute to promote Swedens diplomatic effort in promotingthe Israeli-Palestinian peace process;
- Contact with Israeli civil society organisations, including human
rights and peace and reconciliation organisations.
- Administrative tasks relating to the day functions-
