We are looking for a Head of Legal to join us as our first in-house counsel and act as the go-to person for all things legal.
This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced, strategically-minded, hands-on, tech-focused lawyer to be the legal focal point within a growing company in a dynamic and disruptive field. You will support the company on diverse legal aspects, collaborating with different functions such as Sales, Partnerships, Finance, R&D, Operations, and HR. You will also play a crucial role in developing and implementing legal strategies, policies, and processes to optimize operational efficiency and business results.
As a Head of Legal , you will hold a high level of responsibility and trust within the organization, reporting directly to the CFO.
Role and Responsibilities
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage customer, partner and vendor contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and compliant with company policies and legal standards, applying best practices and structures.
Provide ongoing legal counseling and guidance on ongoing corporate matters.
Provide legal support on employment-related issues, including support in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, advising on compliance with Israeli and US labor laws, and assisting in employee related matters.
Oversee and advise on compliance with technology-related regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy, intellectual property, and industry-specific laws.
Monitor and respond to emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory developments in AI.
Develop and maintain legal strategies, processes, internal policies and templates to ensure best practices and legal compliance
Oversee the Companys registration process of patents and trademarks
Work with all necessary stakeholders across functions such as sales, finance, and HR, providing deep legal knowledge of laws, regulations, best practice and structures.
Offer timely and accurate legal advice to senior management and business units on a range of legal matters, including risk mitigation and strategic decision-making.
Collaborate and manage relationships with outside counsel

Requirements:
Minimum 8+ years experience in high-tech/ commercial law. Ideal candidates will have a blend of law firm and in-house counsel experience.
Deep expertise in technology law, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. Strong understanding of the technology sector and emerging trends. Adept in best practices and structures.
Experience in drafting commercial agreements, and the ability to draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements independently, with a solution-driven approach to legal issues.
Demonstrated ability to lead legal strategy and manage high-stake projects effectively, with a hands-on approach.
Experience in fast-paced technology companies and ability to adapt to dynamic environments and changing priorities within deadlines.
Highly motivated with outstanding communication skills, interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate across functions.
Excellent judgment and strong business acumen, able to effectively translate legal concepts into practical advice
Precise and efficient, with very strong organizational skills
Licensed attorney
Fluent in English (verbal, reading and writing)
