Responsibilities
As a System QA Automation Team Leader, your impact will be:
Team Leadership: Lead the QA and automation team by providing clear direction and mentorship and by fostering collaboration between the feature teams, the hardware lab, and the platform.
Team Environment: Cultivate a collaborative and productive environment, encouraging innovation, continuous improvement, and a commitment to excellence.
Performance Optimization: Orchestrate machine resources (CPU, memory, storage, traffic) to ensure optimal performance. Verify that the platform operates reliably under both normal and stressful conditions, minimizing downtime and failures.
Automation and Quality Assurance: Design, execute, and manage automated test scripts and CI/CD pipelines to integrate product development with lab operations and ensure consistent product quality.
Strategic Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive QA and automation strategy that aligns with overall product goals, ensuring scalability and adaptability.
Test Strategy: Create and maintain detailed test strategies and plans that meet business objectives and project timelines, ensuring thorough validation and coverage.
Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage QA activities across multiple projects and products, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with QA teams, development teams, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize testing efforts, and achieve quality objectives effectively.

Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience leading a QA team, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
At least 4 years of proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a focus on platform or system-level testing in Linux environments.
Strong proficiency in Python (required).
Customer-Oriented Scenario Testing (COST) strategy and planning familiarity - Huge advantage.
In-depth knowledge of hardware interfaces, types, and protocols.
Solid understanding of system-level testing for hardware/software integration.
Expertise in functional, performance, and environmental testing.
Proven experience in backend testing methodologies and practices (required).
Experience implementing automated test scripts across platforms integrating them into Jenkins pipelines (required).
Strong technical knowledge of QA processes, testing strategies, and debugging techniques to identify and resolve complex issues.
Knowledge of networking protocols and proficiency with network analysis tools.
Exceptional technical skills for diagnosing bugs and solving intricate problems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Highly adaptable, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in English for effective communication.
