Senior Bookkeeper

As the sole Bookkeeper, you will independently manage all accounting functions, including processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This is a 'one-man show' role, requiring a proactive, self-sufficient approach to handling all financial tasks within the company.

What Youll Do:
Handle and record AP invoices for local and foreign vendors, vendor reconciliation, communication with procurement and budget owners, record invoices against POs.
Responsibility for local regulatory submissions to tax authorities in Israel on a monthly and annual basis.
Ensure proper documentation for all invoices, purchase orders, payments, etc. incl. their appropriate approvals.
Assist in monthly closing routines (accruals, bank reconciliations, prepaid, invoices, open PO analysis, etc.).
Conduct ongoing BS accounts reconciliations including closing entries and cut-off accounts.
Maintain Fixed Assets records of the company.
Payment cycles preparation.
Prepare materials and reports for monthly closings and quarterly external audit.
Credit card reconciliation.
Ensure accurate financial records, including general ledgers, journal entries, payables, receivables, and fixed assets.
