As the backend team lead, youll guide a group of skilled engineers responsible for large-scale, mission-critical services.
Youll define technical strategies, manage complex projects, and collaborate across teams to ensure a dependable, high-performing infrastructure.
Specifically:
Leadership & Mentorship: Manage and mentor the team, fostering growth, collaboration, and best practices in coding, architecture, and project delivery.
Innovation & Quality: Drive feature development and continuous improvement, balancing new ideas with stable, scalable systems.
Operational Excellence: Oversee production operations, including performance tuning, incident response, and ongoing infrastructure enhancements to maintain robust, reliable services.

Requirements:
+ B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent
+ Experience managing a team (preferably 2+ years) and leading projects hands-on from start to finish (preferably 6+ years, focusing on system architecture with a significant focus on backend technologies).
+ Have experience developing a backend service in TypeScript/Node
+ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
+ Proficiency in modern system architecture with large-scale and high performance
+ Impact driven - use data to make sure every task moves the needle and utilize your resources to maximize the team's impact.
+ Team player, with strong communication skills and someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
+ Creative, solution-oriented, and able to maintain a can do attitude, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and uncertainty. Adapt quickly to changing business needs
