The Prisma Cloud Application Security product is part of our Networks cloud security product, and represents the shift left motion of application security for cloud applications. The group is responsible for creating a product that covers that entire Application Security persona , from the first phases of code scanning , through pipeline scanning, to production - to allow E2E view of an AppSec person journey. Our goal is to have a simple and comprehensive AppSec journey while providing first-in-class developer experience and streamline the work between all the different players.
We are looking for a Principal Code Security Researcher who can help us build and ship industry defining products to help application security and developers build more secure cloud applications.

Your Impact:
Advance Prisma Cloud's code analysis capabilities by conducting in depth research in the areas of SAST, vulnerability management, SCA, IaC, and identification of secrets in code.
Collaborate closely with the engineering and product teams to implement your research findings, ensuring Prisma Cloud's AppSec offering remains industry-leading.
Advise product managers and leadership on emerging threats and trends in the AppSec domain.
Regularly engage with the larger security research community, representing Prisma Cloud at conferences and forums.
Mentor and guide junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and sharing.

Proven background in research including application security and code analysis with 6+ years of experience.
Familiarity with multiple popular programming languages and understanding of their associated security pitfalls.
Demonstrated track record of research in security vulnerabilities and mitigations.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in AST techniques - Advantage.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex topics to varied audiences.
Proven background in research including application security and code analysis with 6+ years of experience.
Familiarity with multiple popular programming languages and understanding of their associated security pitfalls.
