A stable, funded biomedical start-up seeks a motivated, skilled Scaleup Specialist Engineer to join our synthesis team. This role involves developing the scaleup process of our in-house synthetic products and overseeing their manufacturing. Ideal candidates are hands-on professionals with a keen eye for detail who thrive in a laboratory environment and are passionate about process scale-up and optimization.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and optimize the scaleup process of the company's in-house synthetic products. This part of the job also includes operating and optimizing the purification steps using Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems (experience is an advantage)
Prepare comprehensive reports and detailed production protocols.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Operate and analyze data using chromatographic systems such as HPLC and GPC.

Requirements:
Academic degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field (theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Organic Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry are an advantage).
At least 2 years of experience in scaleup and optimization of synthetic processes. Experience in hands-on wet synthetic chemistry is preferred and is an advantage.
Self-motivated, problem-solver, quick learner, and capable of working independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The position offered is 100% on site.
