This position involves merging advanced quantum physics concepts with novel photonic IC designs, hardware, software, and opto-mechanical elements into a cohesive system.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Physics, or a related field (Ph.D. or equivalent experience is a plus).
Proficiency in Python and strong software skills.
Strong quantum physics background, and familiarity in quantum information and its technical applications.
5+ years of experience in system engineering/architecture within multi-disciplinary technology domains (e.g., systems, HW, Embedded SW, Algorithms, Opto-mechanics).
Strong leadership skills; Capable of leading without formal authority.
Quick to learn and able to dive deeply into unfamiliar topics, and comfortable navigating through uncertain/unstructured environments.
Experience in the quantum computing industry is a significant advantage.
