Senior Tech Lead

About The Role:

We are looking for a sharp, experienced Tech Lead to join our R&D team.

This cross-team leadership role is for a senior engineer who enjoys tackling tough technical challenges and is committed to helping other developers excel.

As Tech Lead, you will drive architecture, infrastructure, and platform-level improvements.

You will collaborate across engineering teams, lead cross-team projects, and shape technical decisions across our stack. You will report directly to the VP of R&D.

Responsibilities:

Lead cross-team infrastructure and technical initiatives
Design scalable, maintainable, and secure systems architecture
Work hands-on across the stack in both frontend and backend
Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps
Identify and remove bottlenecks to improve developer productivity
Mentor engineers and strengthen our technical culture
Work with product, design, and engineering leaders to deliver merchant and end-user solutions
Contribute to our technical roadmap and participate in architecture reviews

Requirements:

8-10+ years of software engineering with significant production system contributions
Deep experience in frontend (Angular, React) and backend (Node.js, NestJS) development
Strong knowledge of microservices, databases, queues, and scalable systems
Strong system design and architecture skills
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and Kubernetes
Passion for improving engineering workflows and team productivity
AI Mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects from design to launch

Advantages:
