Student Position: Business Analyst

We are looking for a Student Position: Business Analyst that will handle the following:

Identify, analyze and recommend to management on preferred business directions, based on analysis of market dynamics and an overall view of the organization.

Track industry business environment, including market trends and competition, performance and actions.

Evaluate future trends and identify threats & opportunities for ZIM.

Major areas of responsibility

Business development & analytics

Gather, analyze and evaluate market trends, the industry and the competitors
Identify & analyze business opportunities
Conduct risk assessments
Economic analysis
Recommend action plans
Present and communicate
Cross function Company overview

Economic decision support evaluations & tools

Provide economic evaluations, to support company’s business decisions
Financial modeling, qualitative and quantitative analysis
Provide and implement control tools & measures relating to specific business actions

Analytic tools and process development

Development of decision supporting tools and processes (forecasting & analysis tools) in order to support company business decisions and strategy.

Business Information Centre

Maintain & manage, ZIM’s external business information
Manage ZIM’s data sources budget, payments and agreements with business data providers
Provide support to company’s units business data requests
Research, analyze and organize information on a regular basis and ad-hoc needs



Requirements:

Student in the fields of Industrial Engineering or Economics- a must!
At least 3-4 semesters study balance
Strong Excel skills
High level of analytical skills
High level of control in English language (Speaking, reading and writing).
IT Skills: High level of control in Office tools, Excel and Power point
