YOUR MISSION

As a DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for building, setting up, and maintaining infrastructure and platforms crucial to our operations. Your tasks will include:

Implementing CI/CD processes
Managing infrastructure for Deep Neural Network (DNN) training
Orchestrating containers using Kubernetes and managing Virtual Machines
Supporting LeddarTech's chosen Cloud Platform(s)
Defining and executing technical roadmaps and workplans for upgrades, updates, and fixes
Automating development and release processes
Collaborating with engineers to ensure development aligns with established processes
Ensuring system security against cyber threats
Implementing modern DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, GitOps, and more

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:In your role, you will:

Provide Level 2 technical support
Build and maintain tools to enhance customer experience and reduce errors
Develop software to integrate with internal systems
Perform root cause analysis for production errors
Investigate and resolve technical issues
Automate work processes through scripting
Design troubleshooting and maintenance procedures for systems

The Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

A BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
Strong networking configuration and setup skills
Excellent knowledge of Linux and Windows OS administration
Proficiency in virtualization and containerization technologies, along with their orchestration
Good programming skills, especially in bash and Python
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Ability to document and monitor production setups
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
Collaborative team spirit and effective communication skills
