System Testing Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled System Testing Team Lead to join our storage company. As a System Test Team Lead, you will lead a team of system testers responsible for ensuring the quality of our storage solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and report bugs, verify bug fixes, and develop testing strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring that the System Test team delivers high-quality results, meets deadlines, and maintains effective communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in system testing.
Experience in leading experienced QA engineers, effectively prioritize and switch between tasks, and maintain a clear view of the overall quality picture.
Act as the focal point for the QA team, continuously improving team performance, processes, and collaboration across the organization.
Strong technical background in networking concepts and common protocols, with the ability to stay hands-on and engaged in technical discussions.
Solid experience with server-side operating systems and services, including Active Directory, LDAP, and related infrastructure components.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as Sys-Admin, Support, Integration engineer or Professional services.
Knowledge of SAN and NAS protocols.
Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare/HyperV/KVM.
Experience with execution, debugging, and writing of scripts (Python/Bash).
Experience with HW testing.
MCSE/CCNA/ISTQB or higher certifications.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of system testers
Develop and implement system testing strategies and processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and report bugs
Verify bug fixes and ensure they meet the required quality standards
Develop and maintain test cases, plans, and documentation
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in system testing
