System Administrator

*Overview*

RAD is looking for an experienced System Administrator who is responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and supporting the organization’s enterprise infrastructure across Linux, Windows, and virtualization platforms. The role focuses on maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable IT services while driving automation, monitoring, infrastructure modernization, and operational excellence. The position works closely with IT, DevOps, Engineering and business teams to ensure reliable infrastructure supporting critical production systems. This role reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager. The position is full-time and based at RAD’s offices in Tel Aviv.

Key Responsibilities*Infrastructure Administration*

* Administer and maintain enterprise Linux and Windows Server environments.
* Manage Nutanix AHV infrastructure, including Prism Central/Element, virtual machine lifecycle, storage containers, networking, snapshots, high availability, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
* Administer VMware vSphere/vCenter environments and support hybrid virtualization infrastructure.
* Install, configure, upgrade, patch, migrate, and troubleshoot enterprise servers and infrastructure services.
* Ensure infrastructure availability, resilience, and business continuity.

*Enterprise Infrastructure Services*

* Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PKI/Certificate Services, IIS, Apache, and Nginx.
* Manage SSL/TLS certificates and Certificate Authority infrastructure.

*Monitoring & Reliability*

* Design, implement, and maintain enterprise monitoring using Zabbix.
* Develop custom monitoring templates, triggers, dashboards, discovery rules, and alerting.
* Perform root cause analysis and proactively improve infrastructure reliability.

*Security & Compliance*

* Maintain secure infrastructure following industry best practices.
* Support vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening.
* Manage PKI, SSL certificates, and secure communications.
* Assist with disaster recovery and security initiatives.

*Technical Support & Operations*

* Provide Tier 2/3 infrastructure support.
* Troubleshoot complex Linux, Windows, virtualization, networking, and application issues.
* Support production systems, engineering teams, DevOps, and international stakeholders.
* Participate in planned maintenance and after-hours support when required.

*Required Qualifications*

* 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure administration experience.
* Strong Linux and Windows Server administration skills.
* Hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV and VMware.
* Experience with Active Directory, DNS, PKI, SSL/TLS, SMTP, IIS, Apache, Nginx.
* Experience with Zabbix and automation tools (Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python).
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
* High-level English proficiency (written and verbal) for working with international stakeholders.

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE/RHCSA, MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP).
* Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, GitLab CI/CD).
* Experience supporting large-scale, highly available production environments.
