We’re a small, experienced, and tight-knit engineering group at Briya, building an advanced AI-powered solution for medical research.

Our platform empowers researchers and healthcare organizations to define populations, analyze real-world data, and accelerate scientific discovery responsibly and securely.

We’ve been working together for years, driven by a shared mission and a culture that values delivery, ownership, quality, and impact.

We’re now looking for another meaningful team member to join us! Someone who loves to build, cares deeply about user experience, and wants to make a real difference in healthcare through technology.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience as a backend developer.
Strong proficiency in a strictly typed programming language (Go, Java, .Net, Typescript) and modern web development.
Experience building and integrating cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Docker/Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of API design, security, and data-driven applications.
A builder’s mindset, curious, responsible, and pragmatic.
Passion for collaboration and for solving meaningful, real-world problems in healthcare.

Nice to Have

Experience in developing AI based products.
Demonstrated familiarity with UI development (React)

What You’ll Do

Design and Build Core Applications: Develop and optimize rich, data-centric web applications used by researchers globally, applying a strong focus on backend, infrastructures, architecture and performance
Contribute Across the Stack: Deliver scalable, secure software features end-to-end. This includes seamlessly integrating the backend with UI applications, other microservices and contributions to our infra domain (K8s, Docker, Terragrunt)
Collaborate on AI Tools: Partner with UI and AI engineers to integrate our cutting-edge medical AI co-pilot, turning complex data insights into practical, user-friendly features.
Influence Strategy and Culture: Actively participate in architectural discussions and product direction, contributing positively to our team's mission-driven culture of quality and ownership.
