CTO

you’ll be at the core of leading the development and architecture of advanced, distributed web systems. The focus is on modern JavaScript/TypeScript/React front-end stacks, EC2 Instnaces, and AWS-native serverless technologies. You’ll drive the architecture and hands-on development of highly scalable applications while collaborating with product leadership, data engineers, and senior management to align technical direction with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full-stack development using JavaScript/TypeScript/React (And a bit of Python).
Architect and implement cloud-native, serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and Cloudflare Workers.
Design robust data pipelines and ETL processes (e.g., Parquet MySQL/ClickHouse via Athena).
Manage integrations across Cloudflare KV, queues, RDS, MongoDB, and EC2.
Define technical roadmaps, break down complex systems, and produce detailed architectural plans.
Perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and establish development best practices.
Optimize system performance, security, and scalability across cloud infrastructure.
Own architectural decisions and help guide business/technology priorities.

Requirements:

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (React) and Python.
Proven experience leading engineering teams and driving architecture for large-scale web systems.
Deep knowledge of AWS services, especially serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, S3, EventBridge).
Strong understanding of ETL flows and data engineering — including data transformation and ingestion into SQL-based databases.
Experience working with Cloudflare stack: Workers, KV, Queues.
Familiarity with relational and document databases (e.g., RDS, MongoDB).
Experience deploying scalable systems using EC2 and integrating event-driven architecture.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred

Experience designing external APIs and B2B integrations.
Background in security and compliance best practices.
Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
