Dynamics of the Role
This is an exciting time in TransUnion CIBIL. With investments in our people, technology and new business markets, we are redefining the role and purpose of a credit bureau.

The Outsourcing Governance Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the outsourcing relationships of the company. Responsible for carrying out governance related monitoring for outsourcing team within TransUnion CIBIL. Governance is intended to ensure compliance (internal & external) with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards that regulate Personal Information, as well as TransUnion business practices. The Outsourcing Governance Head plays a critical role in maintaining the effectiveness of outsourcing partnerships and mitigating risks.

Roles & Responsibilities

Policy Aspects:

Defining & reviewing of policies & Standard operating procedures (SOP’s) related to Outsourcing.
Take ownership of the outsourcing policy (IT & Non-IT).
Implementation of Governance framework.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Outsourcing risk assessment and controls around the same.
Provide early warning signals.
Ensure that vendors have a robust DR/BCP plan and make sure its aligned to our requirements.
Automation of on boarding process for better governance.

Performance Monitoring:

Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance.
Regularly assess vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
Implement corrective actions when performance falls below expectations.

Compliance and Risk Management:

· Ensure vendors adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.

· Identify and mitigate risks associated with outsourcing relationships.

· Create a reporting framework to highlight exceptions through the ORC channel.

· Develop and implement KCSA & KRI for the function.

· Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions.

Relationship Management:

· Foster strong working relationship with vendor representative.

· Act as primary point of contact for issue resolution.

· Promote collaboration and effective communication between internal teams and vendors.

· Working with infosec for TPRM related processes.

· Co-ordinate strategy with Procurement team.

Cost Management:

Monitor outsourcing costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Review Vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and consistency.
Drive efficiency improvements and cost optimization.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Implement best practices and encourage vendor innovation.
Track and report on the progress of improvement initiatives

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all outsourcing agreements, SLAs, and performance data
Prepare regular reports and presentation for senior management.
Ensure transparency and accountability in outsourcing governance.
Present in the RMC and share updates keeping compliance aspects in mind.

Impact You'll Make:

Master’s degree in Business Administration/ Analytics/ Governance/ Risks and Control profile or a related field.
Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience
Ability to render recommendation on governance framework based on business requirements.
Executive presence and assertiveness.
Ability to perform multiple tasks in environment that changes daily based on incoming work.
Self-starter, ability to work independently, handle ambiguous situations and exercise judgement in variety of situations.
Strong communication, organizational, verbal & written skills.
High degree of responsibility and ownership, strong multitasking, coordination and tenaciously looking for ways to get results.
