AWS Backend Developer - Israel

Supported by clinical trials, we are setting a new standard in critical care by achieving nearly 100% feeding efficiency and reducing ICU stays by an average of 3.3 days.We are looking for an AWS Backend Developer to join our interdisciplinary group of software, firmware, and hardware engineers.Role & ResponsibilitiesBeing part of a unique R&D team developing medical services over cloud-based platforms.Research and implement state of the art tools, methodologies and design patterns in the fields of cloud, high performance, and distributed computing.Architecture, design and developing micro-services based on Java and Python.Collect clinical data pipelines from multiple sources — inside and outside clinical settings — that will provide valuable insights about patientsRequirements B.Sc.\B.A. in computer science or equivalent.5+ years of demonstrated experience in object-oriented server-side development – PythonStrong problem-solving skills, experienced with design patterns and integration patterns.Proven experience in cloud development (AWS):Experience building serverless applications/servicesExperience building applications using AWS Amplify frameworkStrong python development skillsExperience using AWS data services: Lake (S3, data catalog), DBs (Document DB/DynamoDB), AWS EMR, AnalyticsAWS compute: Lambda, Faregate, K8sSecurity related: AWS IAM, managing security policies and roles, certificate & key management servicesExperience work with AI productive tools.Advantages:Experience in medical device companiesExperienced with relational DB and with NoSQL DB.Proven experience with micro-services architecture.
