cyber security engineer

We are looking for a cyber security engineer with technical skills for an high tech company in HERZLYA. the engineer will join our growing security group and be responsible for operations of the company's security infrastructure. What you’ll do as a cyber security engineer: Manage various IT security control systems such as CSPM, Identity Management, vulnerability managers, firewalls, etc. (from the security side, we're not looking for a network admin to manage the firewall rules) Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement security architectures for new and existing systems, ensuring security best practices are integrated. Conduct regular assessments of the organization's security posture, identifying vulnerabilities and risks in systems/applications and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant teams. Work closely with other IT teams, including network engineers and application developers, to ensure security measures are integrated throughout the IT lifecycle. Develop and automate processes to improve security and efficiency. Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend improvements to the organization's security posture. What you will need: 3+ years of experience as an information security engineer in a medium/large size organization. 2+ years of experience with cloud provider ecosystems, like AWS, GCP, OCI And CSPM solutions. Experience with a broad range of security technologies like NGFW, WAF, Mail security, Endpoint Security, DDOS Protection, etc. Experience in either Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems and their ecosystems. An understanding of LAN/WAN technologies including network switching, Firewall/Security group administration and basic IP routing. Strong communication skills and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
