Containers are redefining how developers and DevOps are building, deploying, and running their applications. Spot Ocean is working on building the future of infrastructure and cluster management for containers while delivering a unique “Serverless Containers” engine that lets developers deploy containers without managing infrastructure.

Spot Ocean is looking for an Inbound Product Manager to help us execute product strategy and accelerate the adoption of containers in the cloud.

As an Inbound Product Manager, you will own the execution of our product roadmap in front of outbound product manager, engineering, design, marketing, support, documentation and other teams within Spot. You will be in charge of feature definition, prioritization, planning, coordination and release of the Ocean product.

Job Requirements

4+ years of inbound product management experience in the cloud computing (AWS/GCP/Azure) technology space

BS or BA in computer science, engineering or math

Demonstrated success working on complex software solutions delivery, including specification writing, closely working with engineers and follow up execution

Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in Software development or DevOps philosophy

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others and work effectively in a cross-functional team

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with scheduling and cluster management technologies such as Docker, Azure ACI, GKE Autopilot/Fargate/Kubernetes/Docker Swarm/AWS ECS/Hashicorp Nomad etc.

Experience with Cloud Computing
