What you will do:

Own Venice's cloud infrastructure end to end.
Run our multi-region GCP environment - scale, availability, reliability, cost, and observability.
Own the pipelines that ship our microservices, and work closely with developers on CI/CD and their day-to-day development experience.
Own the infrastructure side of our security posture - identity and secrets management, pentest remediation, and compliance.
Small team, wide scope. You will regularly land in domains you have not touched before and be expected to figure them out.

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on DevOps / Infrastructure / SRE experience, owning a production environment with real customers - a must.
Deep production experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and Terraform, with a solid understanding of GCP (Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL).
Hands-on with GitOps-based CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and a solid understanding of the development and deployment cycle.
Familiarity with observability and monitoring - metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerting that catches real problems without generating noise (Grafana, groundcover).
Solid scripting and programming ability (Bash, Go, Javascript).
Fluent use of AI coding and agentic tools in daily work, a can-do attitude, and the confidence to dive into an unfamiliar domain independently.
Experience with cloud security and compliance work - least privilege, WAF, secrets management, pentest, audits.
