QA Team Lead

A key part of our training is TDX Arena, a platform where students engage in cyberattack simulations that mimic real-world scenarios. We are also developing AI-powered practice labs that adapt to each learner’s skill level, providing personalized learning experiences to help students gain the practical skills they need to excel in cybersecurity roles.

We are seeking an experienced, driven QA Team Leader with a robust background in quality assurance, exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. In this role, you will oversee the QA Owners team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable products and services by implementing and upholding best practices, processes, and standards across our QA guild. Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the QA team with a focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
Develop and execute QA strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organization’s objectives.
Mentor and guide QA team members to enhance their skills in software testing and quality assurance.
Identify training needs and professional development opportunities within the QA group, organizing sessions and workshops as required.
Establish and maintain robust QA processes, covering aspects such as test coverage review, planning, execution, and defect management.
Define and enforce quality standards and best practices for all testing and quality assurance activities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams—including development, product management, and project management—to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
Develop and monitor key quality metrics to evaluate process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Identify and assess product quality risks, collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate them and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks that enhance QA productivity and effectiveness.

Candidate Profile:

At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role within a QA team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Hands-on experience with databases (both SQL and NoSQL), including writing complex queries.
Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure management.
