Were looking for a Data Architect Team Lead to help our Data Engineering and Data Science teams become more productive, define and lead POCs of data processing, ML and LLM technologies, improve our Data Lake, optimize our interface with the data serving platform and will improve our big data engineers skills.
This role will report to R&D Director.

Our R&D team transforms petabytes of data into digital insights for our customers, on a daily basis. This means that we are always on the lookout for new ways to make those processes more efficient, reliable, and scalable and make our big data engineers more professional.
We are looking for a Data Architect Team Lead to define the optimal way of processing data, design and lead complex data architecture solutions within our group and with our R&D partners and interfaces, lead a team of principle engineers that provides guidance and mentoring to all of our group engineers, conduct POCs on cutting edge technologies to improve our infrastructure, lead cross group infrastructure features, lead our big data engineering guild of approx 26 engineers and be the focal for architecture solution with other groups architects.
You will impact the work of hundreds of engineers and data scientists, by defining and implementing most suitable ways of data processing and influence our customers by providing top notch infrastructure for a flawless data delivery.
So, what will you be doing all day?
Your role as Data Architect Team Lead means your daily responsibilities may include:
Define and implement standards and best practices for data engineering teams
Lead improvements to our data processing infrastructure
Research, POC and implement new data technologies
Improve our Data Lake
Mentor data processing and data delivery teams
Lead the principle engineers team
Lead the big data engineers guild

Requirements:
This is the perfect job for someone who:
Holds a BSc degree in Computer Science.
Has at least 3 years of experience as data architect, team lead or similar position
Has at least 5 years of experience as data engineers in a big data environment
Deep knowledge and understanding of modern data stacks and technologies
Deep knowledge and understanding of Spark, Airflow , AWS / or other cloud platform - must. Sage Maker - advantage.
Good knowledge of databases: relational, key value stores, document DBs and analytical DBs
Experience with ML ops
Have excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills with the ability to provide constant dialog between engineering teams.
