We are looking for curious, and multi-faceted teammates who are driven to serve our customers.
The ideal candidate should have a mix of experience in most of the following areas. We are open to training people up in certain areas, so don't worry about ticking every box!
Experience supporting complex mission-critical product applications and database systems (RDMBS or NoSQL or both)
Supporting Cloud and/or Enterprise grade applications
Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting experience, with the ability to analyze issues holistically, from the application tier, to database to storage
Broad awareness of customer workloads and use cases, including performance, availability, and scalability
Systems administration experience, including Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting
Good understanding of Networking concepts and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, etc.)
Storage engineering experience, including NAS, RAID, SAN, SSD, multi-pathing, and caching
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure solutions such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, or Google Compute Engine
Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration systems using vendor-specific Enterprise operators

Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Genuine desire to help people
Desire and ability to rapidly learn a wide variety of new technical skills
Uncontrollable urge to investigate and solve problems, with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems in real-time
Strong teamwork: willingness and ability to get help from team members when required, and the good judgment to know when to seek help
Bonus Points
Experience with authentication systems such as LDAP, Kerberos, AD
End-user experience using system monitoring, backup, and operations management technologies (including but not limited to Cloud Manager, New Relic, Glacier, HP Operations Manager, IBM Tivoli, Nagios, or Oracle Cloud)
Experience coding or scripting in one or more of JavaScript, Python, Bash, Ruby, PHP, Java, C, C++, C#, Go, Node.js, Perl
General knowledge or experience with automation technologies such as Chef or Puppet
