As an Android Software Engineer, you will specialize in building elegant infrastructure & products on world-class technologies that bring our social experiences to billions of people, anytime and anywhere.

Software Engineer, Android Responsibilities:
Work closely with our infrastructure & product teams to build new and innovative application experiences for Android
Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest Android programming techniques
Build reusable Android software components for interfacing with our back-end platforms
Analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
Programming experience in a relevant language
Experience building Android applications in Java or Kotlin using Android SDK
Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining us.
Preferred Qualifications:
Shipped at least one large-scale product to production, supporting millions of active users.
