THE ROLE We are looking for a Accountant to join our dedicated finance team and take a key role in managing a group of companies. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the month-end closing and financial reporting processes, with an emphasis on timely, accurate and insightful results and analysis
* Support financial planning and analysis that drives business growth, including budgeting and forecasting
* Manage accounts payable and receivable – Oversee invoices, payments, collections, and customer/vendor relations, ensuring timely processing and accurate records
* Perform payroll operations, ensuring accurate calculations, compliance with tax laws, and timely payment to employees
* Drive and implement ongoing improvements across all processes and systems
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional and global teams
* Prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations within the group
* Develop, implement and document financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
* Work with local advisors to support tax preparation and filing
